Kids can learn about and observe a real bee hive in a safe and secure observation hive

Program runs from the last 2 weeks of May (depending on spring) and runs until the end of June.

COST – $120.00 per classroom

3 or more classrooms in one school $108.00 each

If your school is interested in hosting me in a lab or classroom to allow classes to rotate through we can do a day rate of $450.00 total

What is included

I will bring in my secure observation hive with real bees inside, along with bee keeping clothing and tools as well as some honey to try and pollen to look at. I speak to the students about the life cycle, jobs, and products that bees make. I answer questions and listen to stories about bees, and I give them a chance to look into the hive with this new knowledge. I show them the Queen, Drones and Workers, show how they take care of the babies in the nursery or Brood spaces, and how they make honey and store the pollen

This one hour presentation has had rave reviews and always leave with the students knowing more, and being less afraid of our bee friends. If you have any questions or would like to book a time for me to share with your group, call or text 780-719-1752 or email
