a shortcut to bolder drinks, glazes, and comfort food. Here are our favourite
ways to use each flavour, from the beekeeper's kitchen to yours.
Hot Lemon Honey Drink (a.k.a. the Honey "Toddy")
Extreme Lemon HoneyOur most-requested cold-and-flu-season fix. Add a splash of rum or whisky if you're feeling fancy — just sayin'.
You'll Need
- 1–2 tbsp Extreme Lemon Honey
- 1 cup hot water
- Optional: a splash of rum or whisky
Method
- Heat water until steaming (not boiling).
- Stir in Extreme Lemon Honey until fully dissolved.
- Add your optional splash, and sip while warm.
Golden Chai Honey Latte
Golden Chai HoneySkip the coffee shop line — this comes together faster than you'd think.
You'll Need
- 1–2 tbsp Golden Chai Honey
- 1 cup milk or milk alternative, warmed
- Splash of brewed coffee or tea (optional)
Method
- Warm your milk on the stove or microwave until steaming.
- Whisk in Golden Chai Honey until fully blended and frothy.
- Pour over coffee or tea if using, and enjoy warm.
Hot Honey Butter Wings
Hot Wing HoneyNot just for wings — this works beautifully on ribs, cheese boards, or roasted veggies too.
You'll Need
- 1/4 cup Hot Wing Honey
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Cooked chicken wings, ribs, or veggies
Method
- Whisk Hot Wing Honey and melted butter together until smooth.
- Toss over mostly-cooked wings in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Return to heat until glaze is bubbly and caramelized.
Sriracha Honey Glazed Onions
Sweet Sriracha HoneyA five-minute upgrade for burgers, tacos, or your next charcuterie board.
You'll Need
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 tbsp Sweet Sriracha Honey
- 1 tbsp oil
Method
- Sauté sliced onions in oil over medium heat until softened.
- Stir in Sweet Sriracha Honey and continue cooking until caramelized.
- Pile onto burgers, tacos, or a charcuterie board.
Honey Baking Swap
Any FlavourBaking with honey instead of sugar? Here's the simple conversion — and a heads-up on what changes.
You'll Need
- 7/8 cup honey (for every 1 cup sugar called for)
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- Reduce another liquid in the recipe by 3 tbsp
Notes
- Texture will be more moist and dense than a sugar-based bake.
- Flavoured honeys add their own twist — have fun experimenting!
